They are gorgeous, fit great, look great... and SMELL GREAT. :) The leather is incredible and I hated taking these off at the end of the night. I usually wear an 8.5 but got the 8 here and liked the snug feel - - i believe the leather will stretch a bit and they will be perfect. I live in florida, so dont need to wear heavy socks... but i would say they run true to size and actually have a pretty snug fit in the calf. If you plan to wear heavy socks you might want to go up a half size. All in all, I imagine you will love these boots and be very happy with the investment!
